What are the qualifications for the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program?

To qualify for the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program you must be a recent survivor of sexual assault and/or domestic violence and have a financial need for services.

How do I get qualified for the program?

The quickest and easiest way to see if you qualify is to fill out out the form at the top of the page labeled “See if you qualify for counseling with Heels to Heal.”

You can also reach out to our offices Monday through Friday 9AM to 3PM to speak with the Executive Assistant.  If you reach our voicemail, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number and someone will call you back when offices reopen.

What if I would like counseling but don't qualify for the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program?

If you do not qualify for the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program, we will provide you with other agencies in the area that may better fit your needs.  Alternatively, we can add you to our group counseling list and schedule that you may attend.

Are there any costs associated with the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program?

The Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program is free to qualifying individuals.

Is health insurance required?

Health insurance is not required to receive private counseling sessions through the Heels to Heal Crisis Counseling Program.

Where will I meet with my counselor?

For the health and safety of our counselors and participants, Heels to Heal is offering teletherapy services as a response to COVID-19.
